Gerard Way has been the lead singer of rock group My Chemical Romance for 12 years...until this past weekend. Much to the sadness of their many fans (including me), My Chemical Romance announced they were breaking up. My Chemical Romance has produced many hit songs from four studio albums including "I'm Not Okay," "The Ghost of You," "Welcome to the Black Parade," "NaNaNaNaNaNa," and "Sing." My Chemical Romance also recently released two songs each month for five months from what they called the Conventional Weapons sessions. Gerard Way is also an author. He has written a comic novel series titled The Umbrella Academy. He is also featured with Joss Whedon in MySpace Dark Horse Presentscollections. What is Gerard Way reading to his daughter? Gerard tweeted a few days ago, "We've had Chu's Day for 2 weeks and Bandit asks for it every night! Thank you, sir. @neilhimself." Chu's Day is the newest picture book written by Neil Gaiman and illustrated by Adam Rex. Here's one of my favorite MCR songs, "Famous Last Words." You can follow Gerard on Twitter.
