Welcome!

Thank you for stopping by my new blog! I will be compiling and posting book recommendations of celebrities once or twice a week. If you have a fave celeb or musician that you'd love to know what he or she is reading, let me know in the comments! I'll try and get the book recommendation for you.

To start us off, here's a great link of 20 Celebrities with Stunning Libraries. The libraries are indeed beautiful. Of course Oprah is one of the celebrities listed, but Keith Richards' library is highlighted, too!

Please spread the word that READING ROCKS!

Thanks!

I was looking at those libraries yesterday and drooling. I love the ones with the catwalks on the second story. Oh, to have a house with a library -- that would the Sherrie Dream House :)

Kate - I'm looking forward to finding out what they are reading myself!
Thank you, Sharon!
Sherrie - I would so love a library in my home, too! We have SO many books!

Great idea for a blog, Kelly! I love, love, love those library photos! When I'm rich and famous (hee hee!), I'd love to have a library like Aaron Spelling's (or William Randolph Hearst's, but I'm trying to be a wee bit realistic!)

Jimmy Page's looked more like albums, and I had a hard time finding Aaron Spelling's... ;p but whoa! Karl Lagerfeld! And that Nigella lady... :D

This looks like it's going to be fun blog Kelly. The libraries of Keith Richards and Jimmy Page seem the coziest and friendliest to me. I could see myself curling up with a good book at Keith's while listening to music from Jimmy's collection.

Thank you, Jama! And double thank you as I got the library link from you on fb!
Thanks, Mel!
Marisa - Thanks. I'll have fun working on it!
Susan - Wouldn't a library like that be wonderful!?!!
LTM - I love how the shelves go to the ceilings in most of the libraries pictures.
Bish - Their libraries do seem to have a cozy, free spirited feel to them.

Woo-Hoo! Love this!

It would be cool to see Obama's library, and what the Tea party people are reading, in addition to The Bible.

If I got rich, I would buy the complete works of Dostoyevsky leather-back, and a real Gutenberg bible. That would be something >:)

Wow can't wait to read more! Awesome blog here!

Great idea!

Loved that link. The cookbook author's photo was the best for me. When I think of books I want to be swimming in them and therefore having them all neat and tidy on the shelf is not necessary.

I love to hear about rock stars and what they are reading. I think Marilyn Manson used to talk about what he was reading. And I think there was an interview with Lady Gaga recently talking about a book.

THank you, Jess!
Patricia - You know I want to know what rockstars are reading too!
Thank you, Heather!!
Thanks, Darby!
Kris - Actually, I'm quite curious myself! :)
Laura - I read that Tyra Banks and Joshua Morrow of Young and the Restless were both reading Mockingjay this week!

I covet Diane Keaton's library, but sadly my own would probably look more like Ms. Lawson's. :0)

I would definitely say Jimmy Stewart's is my favorite, but Diane Keaton's is my second.

Congratulations on the new blog! I love the Julianne Moore library, leave it to her to mix classic with modern for a stunning effect. I also love the Jimmy Page library. He rocks!

I was going to recommend Obama too. It looks like he took some heat recently for reading too much fiction.
