Salma Hayek's acting career started in Mexico where she starred in the telenova, "Teresa." In the 1990's, movies like Desperado, Wild, Wild West and Fools Rush In helped her breakthrough to stardom in the U.S. The beautiful actress received an Academy Award in 2002 for her starring role in Frida. In 2007 Salma was nominated for an Emmy for guest-starring in "Ugly Betty." Her most recent films include Grown Ups and Puss in Boots.
