Flea

Flea is the bassist and cofounder of the popular rock group Red Hot Chili Peppers. The Chili Peppers' popularity has spanned thirty years, and they have won six Grammy awards. Their many hits include "Give It Away," "Scar Tissue," and "Snow (Hey, Oh.)" RHCP recently played an amazing set with Bruno Mars at the Super Bowl which led to a controversy about their guitars being unplugged during the performance. Read Flea's very eloquently written message about that here.

What is Flea reading?

A few days ago Flea tweeted, "finished 'eleven rings' by @PhilJackson11 and it got me inspired and full hope!"

Blurb from amazon.com:
Eleven times, Jackson led his teams to the ultimate goal: the NBA championship—six times with the Chicago Bulls and five times with the Los Angeles Lakers. We all know the legendary stars on those teams, or think we do. What Eleven Rings shows us, however, is that when it comes to the most important lessons, we don’t know very much at all. This book is full of revelations: about fascinating personalities and their drive to win; about the wellsprings of motivation and competition at the highest levels; and about what it takes to bring out the best in ourselves and others.

Excellent recommendation -sounds like an inspiring read!

Enjoy a rockin' song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers!
